WHAT WE DO

Oranganui means “abundant wellbeing”. The name was gifted to the Kātene whānau by their tupuna Selwyn Ira Wi Kātene during the blessing of their new home in 2004.

As a safe space, it provides ongoing physical, mental and spiritual sustenance for the whānau, which is what we want to pass on to our customers in the quality of our product and the service that we provide.

WHO WE ARE

Oranganui Flooring is a family owned, locally run business, supplying a wide array of quality flooring such as Italian floor and wall tiles for indoor and outdoor use. Timber, carpet, LVT and laminate flooring in a variety of colours to compliment your home and office decor.

Oranganui Flooring LTD commenced business immediately prior to the 2021 COVID lockdown and despite the restrictions, has been able to operate successfully in the short time since then. We credit this success to the name and heritage associated with the name Oranganui, which reminds us daily why we are in the flooring business, and the backing of Jacobsen and our whānau. 

Oranganui has become a whānau mantra and the name has been used by two whānau businesses: Oranganui Legal Services and Oranganui Flooring LTD.
